GROW FOR GOLD IN TOWN GARDENING COMPETITION
This year's Town Gardening Competition will include a special category for the Best Jubilee or Olympics Display.  The competition is open to all Skipton Parish residents and the closing date for entries is 31 May 2012.  Full details of this year's competition and entry forms are available to download on our Gardening Competition page.

YORKSHIRE IN BLOOM
The Yorkshire in Bloom judges visited Skipton on Monday 26 March.  Their tour included Craven College Horticultural Unit, Stepping Stones 2 Project, Skipton Bus Station and Canal Basin, The Bailey, Cenotaph and Holy Trinity Church, before finishing at the new Diamond Jubilee Community Garden on Newmarket Street.  The 2012 Spring Judges' Report is available to download here.  Many thanks to everyone who helped during the day.
